When HERATIKS started, as Grahame Farmer said, we kicked the doors down and at times it felt like win after win in a full sprint; a Music Week #1, a #3, BBC Introducing support, BBC Radio 1 airplay, and a bucket-list set at Ministry of Sound!
Burnout is real in this industry, we'd say even more so at this level... Behind the music the reality is we're balancing full-time day jobs and young families. We’ve traded the frantic rush for a more sustainable pace and our strict "quality over quantity" ethos is at the core of this.
Above all, passion drives this project. We do it for the love of the craft, the thrill of creating original and different music (never any AI content used in our productions) and carry the energy of a packed floor and the happy smiling faces! When we play out we bring all of this passion along with a lethal combination of booty shakin' tech and bass house with garage swing.
The dream remains unchanged: turning HERATIKS into a household name so we can do this full-time and provide for our families.
